The Ememarld Bowl
Last Friday the Beavers played Terrapins in the Emerald Bowl. It was a great game and even though it was raining a bit in San Francisco I was glad to see it in person and not on TV.
Oh, and the fact that we carried in the bar-noculars didn’t hurt to cut the cold either.

Part #4; In and around Hong Kong
Not much to say here, just a summary of some of the things we saw in Hong Kong.
Oh, the blocks in the second to last photo are to keep the statue of William Sunderland from getting off his pedestal and walking around and killing people at night.

Part #3: Good quality, very cheap: Shopping in Bangkok
Good quality, very cheap: It seems like thatâ??s the first English the Thai people are taught... At least around Bangkok. People are saying that to you everywhere you go, from the stands that sell the fake Rolexes to the hustlers who try to get you into a tailor to get fitted for a custom made cheap suit.
Other than the temples (and the custom made cheap suits), thereâ??s not much reason to go to Bangkok unles you have someone knowledgeable to show you around, other than the sex nâ?? drugs nâ?? rock and roll... And for me personally, I wasnâ??t looking for sex or drugs and the only rock and roll they had was on bootleg CDâ??s

Hong Kong part #2; The Chinese hookers in Macau
The pictures today were all taken with a mini camera that has no LCD or usable viewfinder, bit its very useful if you want to take a picture in a place where your not suppose to have a camera.
Our adventure takes us to the island of Macau; for those who donâ??t know Macau was at one time a colony of Portugal and much like itâ??s neighbor Hong Kong, it fell back under control of the Chinese government in 1999, but in what they call it a 'Special Administrative Region' so it still retains a high degree of autonomy. In fact itâ??s the only place in that part of the world that allows gambling. The pictures were all taken in the Hotel Lisboa, The central hotel in Macau and a destination for gamblers and hookers from Mainland China alike..

Part 1 a 4 part series: The much awaited pictures from Hong Kong
In todayâ??s episode we have Ruby and Silky and Silkyâ??s 7th floor walkup studio apartment. Pay close attention to the bathroomâ?¦ Yes that is a hole with a flush tank. People say that in some ways thatâ??s a better more healthy way of relieving yourself, but personally I donâ??t see it. Then again, maybe Elvis would still be around if he couldnâ??t sit down to take a dump. Photo #4 was taken right before my girlfriend drifted off to sleep but then woke up and thought she saw me making out with her friend...Which by the way; I wasnâ??t. Just so you all know, it didn't happen. Hay, that brings up one of my favorite lines: â??Hay baby, you gunna believe me, or your lying eyes?â?? But seriously though. I didnâ??t... Really. No, really...
